These terms cover the PingBots website at pingbots.com and the PingBots apps for iOS and Android (together, "PingBots"). PingBots is run by Find Your Net, LLC. By creating an account or using PingBots you agree to these terms.
What PingBots does
Each PingBot you create has its own web address. When something calls that address, PingBots sends a push notification with the sound you chose to the phones signed in to your account.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Treat your PingBot addresses like passwords. Anyone who has one can send you notifications.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app's Settings screen. That deletes your PingBots, devices and sign-ins.
Acceptable use
Do not use PingBots to send spam, to harass anyone, to overload the service, or for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.
Plans and payment
- The Free plan includes one PingBot. Paid plans (Basic and Balanced) raise that limit and are billed monthly or yearly.
- Plans bought in the app are sold and billed by Apple or Google. They renew automatically until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
- Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
- Deleting your PingBots account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the store as well.
No guarantee of delivery
Notifications travel through Apple and Google push services and your phone's settings, which we do not control. PingBots is provided "as is". Do not rely on it as the only alert for anything where a missed or late notification could cause harm.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Find Your Net, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using PingBots, and its total liability is limited to what you paid for PingBots in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use PingBots after a change means you accept it.
